Wow, what a morning. And it's not even 8:00 yet. I woke up kind of late. Then I was in a rush to get to work onetime, but when I got out to my car, the windows were all covered in some impenetrable frost. Nothing I would do, could get this stuff off. It took me 20 minutes to get just enough off to see out of the very bottom of the window!! And that was with the help of the defrost!! So, instead of being even more late, I drove like that. Not a good idea. I almost got into two accidents. Possibly the result of other bad drivers, but more likely because I couldn't see. I don't understand why this frost would not come off. I would scrape and scrape, and then scrape some more. First I got a this thin layer off, but under that.... was the real problem. I have never encountered such an issue with frost before. Needless to say, I am going to make sure to get up in time tomorrow to account for this oddity of cold weather.

Another hump day. I am super tired this morning. I hope they day goes by fast. Sorry for the lame post.

Did you know??
The early Church declared that alcohol was an inherently good gift of God to be used and enjoyed. While individuals might choose not to drink, to despise alcohol was heresy.

Have a good day everyone!

It's raining, it's pouring. The old man is snoring. He bumped his head, on the foot of his bed, and couldn't get up in the morning.

It's sure is wet out there today. Then it's supposed to snow tomorrow. I guess it's a good thing it's raining today. Just to get that good sheet of ice before the rain.

Guess what I'm doing tonight. Give up? I'm making cookies. My sweetheart made monster cookies this weekend, and there was some dough left over. So I am going to use the rest of that. I sure hope I remember. I don't think it will be a problem, someone beat me to death with the fact that I haven't done it yet.....lol.

Here are some things you can't do in Las Angeles:
It is a crime for dogs to mate within 500 yards of a church. Breaking this law is punishable by a fine of $500 and/or six months in prison.

It is illegal for a man to beat his wife with a strap wider than 2 inches without her consent.

It's Monday, back at work. It was nice to not have to work for four days. I wish it could be like that every week. Time flew though. It seems like just yesterday I was scrambling to get everything done at work, and now here I am, back at it.

I had a very good few days. I got to spend a lot of time with my sweetheart. Wednesday, we went to a Thanksgiving eve service at church. That was very good! It was a few people giving their testimonies about their journey towards God. Some of the stories were very moving. But it was nice to see God working in peoples lives, and it made me thank God about where I've been, as opposed to what some of those people went through. Then we went to my grandparent's house on Turkey day. And got to see a lot of my family. That was a good time. And very good food!! yum yum Friday, I went shopping with Kassy. It wasn't as busy as I thought it was going to be, but it was still pretty busy. Saturday, was the day Kassy and I got to spend time with her family, and do the Thanksgiving festivities.(more food) Then Sunday, just lazed around, and watched the Vikings game. It was nice to see them finally win a game. Then I saw Kassy leave :( She won't be coming back until Christmas break. So I have to be patient and wait. I hope you all had a great holiday, and I wish everyone the best for the upcoming holidays!!

I heard on the radio, that today is "Cyber Monday". It's the Internet's answer to "Black Friday". Apparently, today is the day you will find a ton of great shopping deals online.

I am not in a very good mood today. You would think I would be, with my long weekend starting tomorrow. I found out that the episodes that I download and put on my iPod, are only good for 5 plays. How stupid is that? I paid for the damn episode, I should get to keep it forever. But no, Apple has to be a bunch of ass holes. I found this out, because I was loading more music on my iPod last night, and when my iPod synched up with my computer, for some reason it took the episodes off my iPod. I was trying to figure out why, and then I noticed a "play count" next to each episode. But I still don't understand why I can't put the episodes back on to my iPod. I'm sorry, I am just in a bad mood about this.

Tuesday, November 21, 2006

It's another Tuesday. But for me it's kind of like Wednesday, and Thursday, all rolled into one. This is due to the fact that tomorrow is my last day of the week. Whooo hoooo

Well, I got my new iPod the other day. I've spend a little time loading my music onto it, but this thing can do much more than that. Like last night, I got an episode of "The Office" loaded onto it. Well, I actually got two episodes. Because I first clicked the wrong link, and bought the wrong one. haha....silly me. So I have two episodes on there. I was thinking last night, that I am going to start a rewards program for myself. Lately I have struggled to stay on track with my running and working out, so I came up with a plan. Every week that I run my goal for that week, I will get to buy myself another episode to put on my iPod. But If I don't reach my goal, then better luck the following week. I am going to start that next week, because I already blew it with not running last night.

Good morning all!! It's Monday, and a short week!!! I only have to work today, tomorrow, and Wednesday. Then I have me a four day weekend!

This past weekend was a hit, I went to a Thanksgiving pot luck down in Morris. That was pretty fun. Most of the people were nice, friendly and willing to talk, except this one guy. Not too sure what his problem was with me, but screw him. Oh, and there was a picture taken with everyone standing around all the food, and how convenient that I was cut out from the picture. I'm sure it wasn't intentional, but the person taking the picture could have said something. Anyway, I had a great time with Kassy. Later that night we went out and watched the meteor shower together. We brought some wine with us, but didn't drink any until we got back inside. I saw two, and she only saw one, but it was nice to curl up under the starts. We were only out there for about a half hour, because it was pretty cold. Then last night, I got the last gift cards for my birthday, so I took the $195 worth, and went to Best Buy and got my 30Gb iPod. Normally $250, I payed $72.48. Pretty good price if you ask me. So all in all, it was a pretty good weekend.

Friday, November 17, 2006

Hey, I just realized that it's Friday again!! All morning I thought it was Thursday. sweet! Well, tonight I'm not really doing anything, just getting things situated for tomorrow. I am going down to see my sweetheart tomorrow, and I need to bring somethings. Kassy invited me to a thanksgiving shindig with a bunch of her friends, and it's pretty much a pot luck. I am bringing drinks. I'll probably bring a 12 pack of Pepsi, Mt.Dew, Miller Lite, and Bud Lite, just so there's a variety. Unless someone tells me different, that's what I'm brining. Well, that's it for me this week. I hope you all have a great weekend!!

The one day I wake up early enough to take a shower, shave, get dressed, and eat breakfast, I walk out to my car to see a flat tire!! grrrr.....why? Well, it's not a big deal....I got AAA. I called them up, and they said they would have someone there at 7:40. OK, only 45 minutes to wait. Time check, 8:10, I get a call, oh they'll have someone there in half an hour. OK. Time check, 8:45, I get a call, they will be there shortly. OK, the dude gets there and swapps out my flat, with the spare, then leaves. A total of about 2 minutes worth of work. It doesn't really bother me that this all happened, but what really gets to me is the fact that I could have done it myself, but I didn't have a jack to do so. I'm competent enough to change a tire. I mean, I did used to work for a tire shop.

OK, I am really running out of things to blog about. I'm reaching deep inside the "blogger idea bag"

It's Wednesday, middle of the week. The day that's referred to as "hump day" When I was younger, I took that nickname, and thought it should represent the day that we should all be humping. Oh, how young and naive I was. It's just the name given to the middle of the week, to represent that we are almost over the "hump" and on the home stretch for the weekend. But I really do hope these next few work days go by super fast. I just want to get to Saturday, because I am going to visit Kassy at school. That should be so much fun. I hope we get to play basketball against her roommates again. There needs to be a rematch!!! It's been hanging over my head for months now. Well, I'm going to get to work, so the day doesn't seem so long.

The Monday fog has lifted,
the door to the week

smashed open once again,
sucking out the vaporous remains of Sunday.

Well, good morning to you all. I hope everyone had a good weekend. I had a very good one myself. I got to spend some good time with my girlfriend. I wish I could spend more time with her, but it's hard because she's away at school. But at least it's not too far away, where I can't get to her by a short 2hr drive. I have to be thankful, because she could be going to California or some other place that takes far more effort to get there. So, I do get to see her this weekend, I am driving down there for some thanksgiving thing with a bunch of her friends. Then the weekend after that is Thanksgiving weekend! I noticed that no one has taken "Black Friday" off yet, so I am going to jump on that.

Have a great week everyone!!

Friday morning. Just have to make it through 8 more hours. 8 more hours, and it's time to let loose this weekend. Well, not really. I'm making home made pizza tonight!! I've only done it once, and that was like 4 years ago, but I remember it was fun. Then I'm going to a movie tonight. I'm still not sure what movie, but we'll figure that one out when it comes time. Kassy's coming to town again this weekend!!!! And that's who I get to spend most of my weekend with. She's the one who's going to help me with the pizza, and she's the one who's coming with me to a movie. Then on Saturday, me, her, her friend, her friend's boyfriend, and her friend's friend(did that make sense?) are all going bowling. I've been looking forward to that for a while now. I love bowling, and I can't wait to get back out there. Well, have a great weekend, and I will be back on Monday. I'm sure you all can't wait..lol..

Thursday again. Oh how I wish it was Friday. I don't know why I'm saying that, I wasn't here on Monday or Tuesday. Oh well. I'm just super tired, that's all.

For some reason, I could not get to sleep again last night. My mind wasn't racing, I was tired, but I just could not sleep. The last time I looked at the clock before being woken up, was 2:34am. With that said, I might just have to go to bed at like 9:00. Because I really need a good nights sleep.

Well, not too sure what to post today. I'm sorry, I'm not really in a blogging sort of mood right now. But if I can come up with something later, I will for sure put it up.

Have a great day, and sorry for the lame post.

Tuesday, November 07, 2006

Hello everybody!! Isn't it a great day today?? I am in a great mood. As most of you know, it was my birthday yesterday. I had taken the day off of work, and planned on sitting around the house doing nothing. Well, that plan was thwarted because my roommate ended up having the day off as well......no.....why?? Oh well. The only thing I really had to look forward to was dinner with my girlfriends grandma and brother. But to my surprise, Kassy had drove back from school to surprise me at the restaurant!! I couldn't believe it, well, I had a suspicion that she was coming, but when she wasn't at her grandma's house, I figured she wasn't coming. There were some really good people from church there, and they all made it very special. No one had ever done anything like that for me on my birthday. I would have to say it was the best birthday I have ever had!! And I mean that. So I say thank you to everyone who made my special day, that much more special. And an even bigger thank you to Kassy for setting this all up, and surprising the crap out of me.

On another note, I was going to call in sick this morning, but then there would have been no one to answer the phones at 7:00. So I figured I would come in, then leave when everyone else gets here. I don't know what's wrong with me, and I really don't want to get into it, but I just don't feel good. I hope the rest of my team understands. I know the will, they're all good guys.

Well, I'm off to answer more phones, so have a great day!!

Friday, November 03, 2006

Friday already? What happened to the week? Oh, that's right. I worked myself to the point where I don't want to do any work today.

I'm pretty excited for the weekend. Mainly because I took Monday off, so it's a long one for me. I'll probably go hang out at canopenner's house tonight(that is if he'll let me). Then tomorrow, I am going to my brother's house. He's having a bunch of family over to celebrate someone's birthday! Sunday, is going to be a lounging day, just going to church then watching football. I'll probably do some laundry or some other house hold task. Then Monday is MY day to do absolutely nothing. Well Monday night I'm going out to eat. But I vow to sit on my butt and waste the day away. I don't ever get to do that, so I figured it's about time. The only productive thing I plan on doing on Monday is going for a run. Maybe I'll blog too, still don't know.

Have a great weekend everyone!!

Thursday, November 02, 2006

Is it Friday yet?? It's going to be another busy day today. We have about a billion moves, and about a billion new people to setup here today at work. The bad thing about all that is, the new people have been here for like two weeks already!! And we just found out about them a few days ago. So now we have all these people who can't work because their computers aren't setup yet. And they won't stop bugging us. So that's what I get to do today. I was going to post about something different, but for the life of me, I can't remember what it was. Maybe if I remember I will post it later on. The only thing I have to talk about right now, is I dropped my pen on myself earlier, and now I have these two big black pen marks going down the front my sweatshirt. I hope no one notices.

Wednesday, November 01, 2006

I am super tired this morning ~yaaawwwwnn~ I was up pretty late. I was just laying in bed thinking about everything that has been going on. And everything that could definitely happen in the future. I was so excited, I just couldn't fall asleep! God works in ways that we could never imagine, and he is truly working in two peoples lives right now!! I'm excited, nervous, and scared all at the same time. But all those feelings are normal, especially when it involves God's plan for us. Because we don't really know what's going to happen!!

Well, today I have to go over and help canopenner again. For some reason he can't do anything by himself. LOL!! just kidding canman, you know I love you!! But on the plus side, I don't get stuck having to answer the phones again. So I got that going for me.
