I'm getting sick of blogging about how crappy the Vikings played. We had opportunities, but dropped passes, broken coverage, and turnovers caused us to looses. I don't think it was just one guy, but a team effort to loose this one.

We got a bunch of Halloween decorations yesterday. We have the spookiest house on the block. We got a few motion sensors that go off when you walk bye em. One of them is a ghost that strung up between two trees and it moves back and forth making scary sounds. And we have one in our bush that shakes the branches and growls at people. It pretty fun. I'll try and post a picture of the mummy that takes up our big bay window.

Hello,

I was working at this place yesterday afternoon, when their active directory database got corrupt. So, that was pretty shitty. I could only stay until 5:30, so a co-worker,we'll call him Adam, had to come out and bail me out. He was able to restore the db from backup, but it was way more involved than that. What took him a little over an hour, would have taken me a good 3 hours to complete. That's why he's the king around here.

Picking up the soon-to-be-daughter has been going well. I let her play with her friend yesterday after school. She's tickled that she has friends in the neighborhood. And they are all blond little girls. I'm really enjoying my time with her. It gives us a chance to bond and build a good relationship. Which will make everything easier.

Well, I should get going, but I hope you all have a wonderful day.

I hope you all had a good weekend.

Mine wasn't too bad. The only thing I caught at the catfish derby was a buzz. The bon fire was a fun time. Some of my favorite members of Christa's family were there too. If we had stayed all night it would have been a drunken stupor.

The Vikings finally won a game. So that made my weekend. That and I have Ronnie Brown on my fantasy football team. He got me 43 points alone. And I thought I wasn't going to win any games due to my top pick (Tom Brady) being hurt for the season during their first game.

I should probably go do some work now. But the only thing is that there is no work for me to do. And again, it's pissing me off. But anyway, have a great Monday.

Well, it's Friday. That's good news.

Tomorrow I am going to a catfish derby thing. Christa's aunt and uncle put one on every year. They fish all day for catfish, then fry them all up. But the person who catches the biggest fish will win the prize money. Oh and the prize money comes from the $5 entry fee that everyone has to pay.

After the fishing they have a huge bon fire. Everyone sits around the fire drinking. Just like any normal bon fire.

It should be a pretty good weekend. I just can't wait for the week to be over.

I hope you all have a good Friday and an even better weekend.

I'm in an everyone-can-kiss-my-ass sort of mood all of a sudden.

So, everyone can kiss my ass.

Except for a few lucky ones.

So the Vikings pretty much sucked it up last night.

They had a legitimate chance to pull out a win, but the inexperience of Travaris Jackson showed up instead. I was super excited to watch em. Then about the middle of the third quarter my hopes started to fall.

Overall the team looked pretty good. T-Jack did make some good plays, but not enough for me to fully support him as the starting QB.

The game looked awesome on my new TV. I think I was more excited to watch the game in high-def than to just watch the game. I sure hope they can pull out a win next week against the Colts.

My girlfriend started working her overnights last night.

It didn't start out the greatest when I went to pick up Isabel from youth commission. She wasn't there, but still at the school. I then found out that's where she'll be from now on. OK, fine.

She ate supper just fine, and went to bed just fine. She did say something about her tummy hurting, but this was before bed time and she didn't mention it again.

Well, this morning she comes into my bedroom crying her little eyes out about her tummy still hurting. She told me she hadn't gotten any sleep all night because of the pain. She looked like she was feeling better, so I sat her on the couch with a little breakfast while I called her mom. After I got done talking to her I heard the poor thing coughing and crying. In the midst of all that, her body decided it didn't want to keep anything down, and she blew. All over the couch. As she was puking she was crying and calling my name. Now, I hate puke, just the sound of her doing it and the thought of me having to clean it all up was making me gag, and I almost threw up.

I I had to yell because she was in the other room, but i told her to run to the bathroom and puke in the toilet. I saw her running with her hand over her mouth and it was spraying everywhere. I could also see her shirt was covered almost completely in throw up. Well, this was bout the time I called work again to let them know that I had a sick child on my hands and that relief would be there about 9:00.

I tel you, I sure hope that it goes better next time I have to pick her up and get ready for school by myself.

Good morning everyone!

It is sure nice to be back in civilization. But I do miss the simple life that the BWCA offers. I wasn't too ready to go back to work today. I just wanted to sleep. Kingy will be posting pics if you'd like to see em.

My girlfriend starts her over nights tonight. So that means more father-like duties today and tomorrow morning. It shouldn't be too bad.

I got a new TV yesterday. It's an LG 42" LCD with full 1080p. I got that sucker hooked up to my hi-def cable box and it's super clear.

Well, I should get working. I hope you all have a great day.
