I woke up this morning with a very bad feeling. For some reason I was freaking out about everything. My heart was racing, my hands were shaking. I just couldn't shake it. I'm still freaking out a little bit, but I can actually think clearly. It felt like everything good in my life was going to be taken away from me. I don't know what brought it on, but I do know that I hate that feeling.

The days are starting to seem a little longer. And that means I'm looking forward to something. And you all know what it is.

I just have to get a few more things for my trip, and throw them in my pack tonight, and that will be it.

Now I'm off to LaMoure.

Good morning all, I hope you all had a good weekend.

I didn't do much of anything Friday night, but Saturday I went to my cousin's wedding. I took the girl I've been talking about. We talked last week about what's going on with us, what's happening, and what we want to have happen. It was nice to figure somethings out. I'll let you all know soon enough.

Anyway, the wedding was super fun. I haven't been to as fun a wedding in a long time.

I will be heading out on my canoeing trip in a few days, I am getting really excited. I just want to go now, and spend a few more days out there.

Well, I should go. I'm off to Chokio.

Good morning everyone!!

Sorry for not posting yesterday, I was super busy all day.

I hung out with that girl last night. I'm not sure what's going to happen between us, but if last night was any indication, we just might start dating. The only thing is i would like to get to know her a little bit more before we start something serious.

I almost bought a portable XM satellite radio. The only reason I didn't is because I had just spend a few hundred bucks on camping stuff. I really want it though. I started thinking about getting one when I drove to SD last. When my radio cut out, and I'm sick of all my CDs, I figured I could get a ton use out of it. The one I was looking at can go anywhere. What I mean by that is, I can use it in my car, I can use it in the house, and I can take it with some headphones and go for a jog. So, we'll see if I get one this weekend.

I've had it with Madden '08!

I'm never going to play that stupid game again. When you're losing every game by at least three touchdowns, it kind of puts a damper on the whole game. I haven't won a single game yet. I've come close twice, but after that it was just a slaughter.

Every time I was doing something good, something bad would happen. The last two games, fumbles were the culprit. I can't pass, I have way more interceptions than touchdowns. I was getting the hang of it, but it was too little too late.

Another day of driving.

I get to go to South Dakota again. Woo hoo? I'm only going to Sisseton, it's about an hour and a half away. So, it's not too far.

I bought some new shoes last night. I just have a few little items to get before the big canoe trip.

I should get some prep work done before I head out. Have a great day!!

Hey everyone, sorry I've been neglecting you all. But the last few days at work were very busy. I wasn't in the office at all, and I didn't have a chance to blog.

Well, this weekend was pretty uneventful. I didn't do much of anything.

Friday night I was at my friend's house playing Madden '08 on the 360 and on his high def TV. I never really got into madden games that much, but this year is a different story. If you get a chance, check it out.

Saturday, I stayed home and didn't really go anywhere. I did check out some camping stores to look at hiking packs.

Sunday kingy came into town. Him, our mother, and myself went out to lunch. Then we all went to the Sportsman's Warehouse. And I found my new pack. I could spend all day and a ton of cash in that store. I plan on going back before my boundary waters trip.

Wednesday again.

Signifies the the start of the end of the work week.

We really need to hire some more network people here at work. I'm getting really stressed out. It also might have something to do with the fact that the girl I've been talking about hasn't called or even sent me the slightest message. It sucks when you realize that someone isn't as into you as you thought.

Oh well, have a great day!

work work work.

That's all I do anymore. I really need to take some sort of 5 day trip into a remote part of MN. Possibly some canoeing would help ease away some stress. If only I knew someone who would be able to come with me to a place like that. Like a brother, or some jack ass friends.

~sigh~

if only...

Good morning everyone! I hope you all had a good weekend.

Mine wasn't too bad. I had a date of Friday night. That was a fun time We went to this fireworks display and saw some of the best fireworks in the world. Very cool.

That was really the highlight of my weekend. Saturday I hung out a friends house, then Sunday I spent the day cleaning my apartment.

So, Friday was definitely the day to blog about. But I am in a hurry, so I hope you all have a great day!

The Cannibal's Dinner Guest

There's trouble in the jungle,
this hot and humid night.
Hear the pounding of the drums,
see the fires burning bright.

A tribe of hungry cannibals
is gathering for a feast,
and tonight they're not just cooking up
the usual jungle beast.

They dance around the burning flames
that flicker in the night,
and after all that dancing,
well, they've got an appetite.

They eye the captive missionary,
and jump about with glee.
White folks are a special treat,
a real delicacy!

A couple of the cannibals
go off to tend the fire,
while another plucks the captive
of inedible attire.

Ample, generous helpings
of Caucasian are revealed,
as the victim's coat and pants and blouse
and bra are slowly peeled.

A lucky youngster over by
the village cooking pit,
tries on the victim's shoes and socks.
How 'bout that...they fit!

The natives start to fan the flames,
'cause a barbecue needs heat,
especially with a hundred and
forty seven pounds of meat.

Then the tribal cook arrives
with a twelve foot bamboo skewer.
The missionary's remaining moments
are surely getting fewer.

The tribal cook says to the tribe,
"We really should work fast,
and quickly get this person cooked
for this evening's repast."

But the missionary disagrees,
"DON'T YOU DARE!" she shouts.
She looks up at the tribal cook
and says, "You savage lout,

Don't just plop me o'er the fire!
I can think of nothing worse...
You should MARINATE me for awhile
with oil and juices first!

And while I'm roasting, don't forget
to BASTE me, you big cretin!
It'll make me much more succulent
and tender when I'm eaten.

Now, I am a little brawny,
and in places rather plump, s
o allow some extra cooking time
for my brisket, hams and rump.

Be sure to try the liver, too -
it's really quite nutritious,
and I strongly recommend my calves...
they should be MOST delicious!"

Well, the natives find it rather odd
to get this kind suggestion.
Most victims only want to give
them lots of indigestion.

On the other hand, they don't complain.
They do just as she'd asked,
dutifully carrying out
these culinary tasks.

And everyone joins in the work,
there is no effort spared,
as the healthy, meaty missionary
is lovingly prepared.

The tribal cook shouts out commands:
"Don't turn the spit too slow!"
"Alright, let's butter her up again,
this time from head to toe!"

Well, the meal turns out just wonderful,
thanks to their dinner guest.
All the bones are cleanly picked -
the cook is quite impressed.

Still, he's just a bit confused,
and a little bit surprised.
Why would this wacky missionary
promote her own demise?

Well, it seems that she had misconstrued
some orders that were sent,
from missionary headquarters
to her little jungle tent.

Her leaders had instructed her
to come up with a plan, f
or teaching all the natives
how to SERVE their fellow man !

THE END (in more ways than one)

Today I'm supposed to go and setup this accounting and tax software. I don't think it will be too bad. But I've worked with tax programs before and they can be a nightmare.

There are a bunch of people who left the company, so that just leaves me as the only network tech for the whole month. It's already starting to suck. I feel some overtime coming my way.

Monday, August 06, 2007

Good morning everyone.

I hope you all had a good weekend. Mine was kind of boring. It seemed like all my friends decided to go out of town on the same weekend. Oh well. I got together with my friend Justin, and we went to the Broken Axe. That was pretty fun, until we got kicked out.

Justin's a short guy, and if you know any short guys you know that they are a little high strung. He sat down and this girl started talking to him. Then this dude came up and said "that's my seat". Of course Justin said "I don't see your name on it" "well, that's my drink sitting there." Justin then moves his drink further down the bar then the other guy said something about a short little piece of shit. And that was it, Justin asked him to go outside, and the bar tender threw everyone involved out. That place was dead anyway.

Good morning all, and happy Friday.

I am onsite right now, I am waiting for this server to reboot. It's taking forever. then all I have to do is install some strange anti-virus.

Are any of you doing anything exciting this weekend? I don't really have any plans. Tomorrow, I am going with a friend of mine to the bars.

I haven't been out in a very long time. It's going to be nice to get out of the house and have some fun. I feel like I should really do something this weekend. I haven't done anything for the last three weekends. So, we'll see how this one turns out.

That's it for me, have a great weekend!

Good morning people.

I was supposed to go on that long drive today, but at the last minute last night, the sales guy for this site dropped the ball and didn't get everything ordered. So they called me at 4:59 to tell me that i won't be going out there today. Maybe next week he said. Now I have nothing to really do. Well, that's not true, there's always something to do.

So, I'm sure you all heard about the Minneapolis bridge. I called a friend of mine that lives there, and he said there were like 100s dead. I told him I've been watching the news since it happened, and so far the death count was 1. Very close guess, if you ask me. I guess he hadn't watched the news yet.

Well, I hope you all have a great day, I sure hope something interesting comes up here at work.

Wednesday, August 01, 2007

Good morning everyone.

Sorry for not posting yesterday. I was on the road pretty much all day. And I will be again tomorrow. I have to drive 4 hours, do at least 4 hours worth of work, then drive 4 hours back. It won't be too bad, I just won't get home till late.

Just for driving I'm going to get $225. Plus at least 4 hours of overtime. When I get paid next, I'm going to be a happy camper.

I hope you all have a good day. And lets try to not be so mean to smarty, she has feelings too.

hahahahahaha... I couldn't keep a straight face.
