Wow, it sure has been a long time since my last post.

I hope you all had a good Christmas. Mine wasn't too bad. I had the whole week off, so that's a pretty good start. We went to moodess's family get together. I got a new ice fishing pole from the gift exchange game they play.

Then we stayed at her mom's house Christmas eve. I woke up with a sore neck, but didn't think too much about it. Until I lifted a 6 year old girl over my head and bumped my forehead just a little, but enough to send me into agonizing pain. I couldn't move my head at all. I dealt with it until Saturday.

I woke up that morning not being able to move at all. I had moodess take me into the doctor's office and they just gave me some muscle relaxers and some pain killers.

So, here it is, Wednesday almost a week from hurting my neck, and it still hurts. Not nearly as bad as a few days ago, but still enough to make it irritating.

But enough of that. What did you all get for Christmas? What was your favorite gift? My favorite gift was a learn-to-play harmonica book with a training harmonica. There hasn't been day yet, where I haven't played it at least a little. I can now play 'When the Saints go Marching in' without using the book. I'm going to be so good by the time the next camping trip comes around.

So here it is, Wednesday December 17th 2008.

I can't wait until this week is over. Then I have a 9 day paid vacation. That's including the weekends.

Our sprinkler system here at work decided to split and leak over the weekend. I got snowed in until about 11:00 am Monday morning only to come into work to find a big cold wet soppy mess. Luckily none of my stuff was ruined.

So, people have been working non stop the last few days to get everything dried and cleaned up.

So, it's been a little while since my last post. I'm sorry to the two faithful readers I might still have.

Things have been going pretty well lately. We put up the Christmas tree and decorations last week. That was kind of fun. We put up the little Christmas village and some lights around the house. We didn't put any out side on the house due to the fact tat we do not have an outlet outside. And I really didn't feel like running a cord into the house or garage.

We got almost all of our shopping done for the season. I still have to get something for Kingy and Queeny. I got Moodess her gifts but I'm not saying what they are because she's been known to read my blog from time to time.

I hope you are all almost finished shopping. It gets to be a pain to shop at the last minute.
