Hello everyone.

Well, I'm safe and my house remains dry. Except for the leak in my water heater that I discovered just days before this insane flood business. Needless to say, it's been difficult to try and get someone out to replace it.

Anyway, they've closed the office again today. This is the third day in a row. On the upside, we'll get paid for these days off. I haven't been to work since Tuesday of last week. I had taken Wednesday off to assist with the flood preparation. I did my part by sandbagging up in the Oakport area of Moorhead, MN for the day. If you've seen the news, most of those peoples' homes didn't make it.

Thursday they cancelled school, so I had no choice but to stay home with the little moodling. Moodess had to work otherwise I would have went in to the office. I heard it was absolutely dead there anyway. So we went to the Country Club area of Moorhead to help out with sand bagging efforts there. For as much sand bagging there was available to do, there were way to many people there. I didn't stay long, but Moodess stayed with two of her friends as I took the moodling home.

Friday they cancelled work due to emergency city shutdown. We got calls from the Code Red emergency notification system at 6:00am saying that I lived in an area that was having issues with sewage backup and that we needed to plug our drains in the basement of our house. So When I got up about an hour later, I called around to see who had drain plugs. Mac's hardware had the 3" plugs and Menard's had the 1.5" plugs. We've been all plugged up since Friday. Moodess and I went to her friend's parents place in the Country Club area to help plug up their drains. Then packed and planned to evacuate if the need arose. It didn't, but it's nice to be prepared.

So now they've closed work again, and I'm stuck in the house for another day with this damn weather. Oh, and I got a flat tire yesterday and it took Tire's Plus almost two hours to fix it. And I had even taken the flat off for them.

Sorry for the long post, but much has gone on the last few days. Take care,

Well, flooding in this area is a very real and dangerous issue. With the recent rain and the precipitation that is threatening our area is not going to help things. Luckily I am out of the flood area, but if for some reason the flood were to get to 44ft, I'd be screwed.

But as it looks, I should be ok. However, there are people I know that are is real danger of having major flood problems. If need be, I'll employ my services to help out.

HoDo weekend was very good.

I asked moodess to marry me. And she actually said yes! So, Moody is gettin hitched.

That was the start of a great weekend. The hot tub on the roof was a great time as well. We didn't make woop as there was a camera pointing right at the tub. Perverts I tell you.

But we were walking to my car Saturday morning to find that some drunken ass hole had busted my driver's side mirror off. They broke the glass, and the whole plastic housing for it. Then someone had the sense to pile all the pieces on the sidewalk next to my car.

Later that night we had friends over at the room and to tell them about our engagement. We went downtown and somehow ended up at the tittie bar. Wasn't my idea, Moodess had never been there and wanted to go. She didn't go up to the stage though. She didn't feel like showing her boobs to the bar. Makes sense.

So, all in all it was a pretty good weekend.

Oh, and I hooked up my surround sound on Sunday. Sounds great!

It's that time again.

Moodess and I are going to the Hotel Donaldson, here in downtown Fargo this weekend. It's a very up scale place to stay. We had a ton of fun last year. And the cool thing is, that it doesn't even seem like we're in the shit hole of Fargo. Seems like we are in some big city downtown.

There is also a hot tub on the roof. It's supposed to snow a little on Friday night and be somewhat warm. It'll be perfect weather for an out door hot tub.
