BOO!!!

Good morning everyone. Or at least the two people who read my blog.

It's almost the end of the week. It's been going by pretty fast. Lots of work to do.

Kingy called my at 11:43 last night. I was already in bed and in that almost sleeping state when he called. All I could hear was loud music and screaming people in the background. He was yelling at me telling me how good of time he was having. All I wanted to do was go back to sleep. But I hope he had a good time with his friends.

But it's Halloween tomorrow. We are going trick-or-treating then to a co-workers place cause he has a haunted house made up in his garage. It sounds pretty scary. Saturday Kingy and his wifey are having a little Halloween party at their house for the kids. I think I might wear my costume.

Apparently the company I work for is not immune to the recent economical problems this country is facing.

Apparently in an effort to refrain from cutting jobs, they are cutting our pay by 10%.

Apparently this is only temporary and we will get our original salaries back after 6 months. IF when the economy gets better.

This is absolute bullshit. I highly doubt that the salaries will go back to normal after 6 months. My boss was doing everything to get us to believe that.

For the people who are effected, the company is giving us a free weeks paid time off. We get a choice to take the week of Christmas off or the week of New Years off. That's nice, but I would much rather have my original pay.

Hello Everyone.

I made it safely back from Tennessee. I worked my ass off and made about 32 hours of OT.

Friday was much better. We worked till about 10:00 am and spent the rest of the day walking around downtown Nashville.

I didn't take too many pics only because i don't have a good digi cam. But I am getting one tomorrow. I'll fill you all in on what kind and the specs of it after I get it.

It's Friday again. I'm pretty happy about it.

It's really dark and gloomy here today. With the clouds and the rain, it makes for a dreary day.

I leave for Tennessee on Monday morning. My flight leaves at 6:00am. Meaning I have to be at the airport at like 5:00am. It won't be too bad. I have a layover in Chicago both ways. The layover's are only like 2 1/2 hours each, it should go by fast.

I'll be coming back on Friday night. My flight gets in about 11:03pm. While I'm down there I'm staying at the Hampton Inn. My own room to do whatever I want with.

I hope you all have a good weekend, I'll try and post some next week, but I might not get a chance. If not, then I'll see ya in a week.

Can you believe it? I can't believe it. No one last light could believe it either. But it did happen. The Vikings came out on top with a win over the Saints.

After the Saint's opening drive I thought it was going to be a slaughter. But the Vike's D definitely did their job. They gave the offence plenty of opportunity. We squandered a few of the chances, but persevered when they needed to.

It was sure a fun game to watch though.

Mine wasn't too bad. Friday we didn't do much of anything. Just got things ready for Saturday.

The Chuck-O tournament was a success. One team didn't show up so we had to do some fancy moving of the teams around on the bracket. But we ended up drawing names out of a hat to pick the teams. Cause let's face it, if moodess and I were on a team together, we'd have run off with the championship. But that's not how it happened. I was in the championship game, with my partner. And Moodess was on the other team in the championship round, with my partner's husband.

It was a very close game, and everyone came back in to watch. I'm sad to say that I couldn't pull out the win. Moodess and her partner gave a near flawless performance and we crowned the '08 Chuck-O Champs.

Sunday we rented a bunch of movies. I didn't watch too much football, but I did catch some of it. We rented The Garbage Pail Kids. I haven't seen that movie in almost 20 years. It was so cheesy, but it was a movie that the whole family could watch.

It was a fun weekend, but now I'm wishing it was Sunday morning again so I could sleep some more.

Well, It's Friday again.

I'm pretty happy about that.

We're having a chuck-o tournament tomorrow. Along with grilling dogs, and other fine foods. It should be a good time.

I'll have to post on Tuesday about how bad the Vikings played Monday night. I sure hope they do better than they've been playing. I'd like to see another winning season in the near future.
